The pair gathered up there bags and what ws left of their lunches and followed Faye inside. Mimi and Darci exchanged silent glances at each other as they walked inside the school, wordlessly communicating. Darci and mad, and Mimi was hurt. Both had good reason to be though, but they kept it to themselves.
"Finally! AIR!" said Mimi happily, bounding through the halls and spinning on her running shoes ballerina style when they got inside. The thought that classes might still be going on never crossed her mind. The difference between inside and out was astonishing, Darci half expceted to see little ice crystals to form on the winodws. The school administration wasn't being stingy on with the AC this year.
Sweeping her hair behind her shoulder, Darci peered in to the locker with a look of almost awe on her face. "You made all of this?" she asked, giving her an expectant look with her brow raised. "That's pretty impressive."

She gave a small, embarrassed smile before replying in a soft voice, "Thanks." Outgoing and brave as she was, she had issues with receiving compliments. Her usual custom was to say they weren't that good, but she didn't feel like fighting today. New friends!
"Take anything you'd like," she added in a normal voice. "Most of it just sits here for the most part." She sifted through it and picked out a corset-style shirt, stowing it into her bag for later. She couldn't walk around all day with her dress splattered with salad dressing. She made a mental note to ask Miss Ami if she could wash it next period.

Mimi was still dancing around the hall, not half badly, still holding her styrofoam plate in her one hand.
"I don't know, It's just English, nothing too fancy." Darci said going through the contents of the locker. "God, I just have old food and...stuff in my locker." she laughed, picking out the brightest piece of fabric in there and holding it up to examine. "What about this one?"

"It would go nicely with your eyes," she replied, looking at it with a critical eye. "And feel free to keep it. Like I said before, no one ever needs clothes around here." She laughed a little and looked at Mimi. "You remind me of my friend," she said, "she's a hardcore ballerina."

Mimi stopped dancing around and walked over to them by the locker, looking at the dress with a nod of approval. "Reaaaaaly? I used to take ballet but I switched to jazz and hip hop. I end up in a lot of the all age club press shots too since I dance. Like I'm in the flyer for the event at the dock next month."
Darci looked over the piece of clothing further, looking at the tiny details. It really was nice for being hand made. It was a simple bright blue one piece, a sundress more then anything formal. Which worked for her, seeing as she was only wearing dollar store flip flops for footwear. "Thanks a lot. It's pretty sick. I can't believe you did this by yourself. Ever put any in the school fashion show?"

She nodded. "A few," she replied, although in reality it was roughly a third of the entire show. But she didn't need to go being all 'well, actually...' like those snotty people she loathed.
She laughed. "That's cool," she said, "I dabbled in dance a bit. A little bit of everything really." Lyrical, hip hop, tap, ballet, jazz, swing dancing, salsa... A little.

"That's cool. You go clubbing much? I could hook you up and getcha in for free. I know a guy." Mimi said excitedly, happy to be talking about her forte rather then school, or anything else for that matter.
Rolling her eyes Darci ducked out, waving the dress in the air and throwing her head in the direction of the bathroom. She was going to go change.

She nodded in Darci's direction once before turning back to Mimi, eyes shining.
"Clubs?" She grinned, revealing flat, white teeth. "/J'adore/ clubbing," she clarified. "And this guy; is he goodlooking, single, and straight?"
ooc; gah the shortness. >< i sorry. i'm mentally dead; spent all day in the city, went to go see Legally Blonde, etc.

"Really? That means yes right? You should so come out to the events lined up this summer. A lot of the normal ones are going all age at least once in either July or August." she said enthusiastically, leaning herself up against the unopened lockers next to Faye's.
Mimi's cute round face hardened at her interest in the guy she mentioned, narrowing her bright blue eyes on the girl. "Umm yeah. But he's like totally my ex boyfriend." To be fair, she could say that about a LOT of guys. "And were kinda sorta still dealing. You know? "
ooc| Wrote the intro in June. Keeping with the time.

"Oh," she replied, a little surprised. "Nevermind then." This was accompanied with a quick shake of the head.
"Yeah, I'd love some details. Sounds fantastic, completely the kind of thing I'd be into." She grinned. God, she loved summer.
ooc; this is so short. again. >< there's an entire song about whether or not this guy is gay. it's hysterical.

"I can hook you up with some guys though if you want. Like..Dan! He's like totally amazing. I met him before he got the Lexus unfortunately." She gave a little pout, looking at the clothes in her locker boredly. "Or Jerry. Or Dante. Pete too."
Darci, all changed up at the point and looked quite fetching in the flattering dress, a nice contrast to the dressing covered skirt and tee. Stuffing the dirty clothes in her backpack and fixed her hair in the bathroom mirror, squinting her face as she considered orange highlights this time around. Spinning round and skipping out of the bathroom she looked quite happy when she reapproached her pair. "It looks really hot. Fourth period perfection."

"It looks good on you," Faye approved with a satisfied look.
Looking back at Mimi, she replied in a mock awe inspired voice, "Where have you been all my life? You know single guys!" She laughed. This was, of course, a joke; she had no trouble finding guys, but this girl seemed nice. As did her friend.

"Thanks a lot. Again." Darci said with a smile, pawing through her bag as she joined Mimi and leaned up against the lockers too. Her brow quirked when Faye spoke to Mimi about single guys but she stayed quiet.
"Yeaahhhh well." she laughed, a high pitched sort of thing. "They are like.. older but whatever. High school boys suck. My boyfriend is like twenty three or something. He's picking me up after school today actually."

Faye laughed. Age didn't matter too much to her, so long as the guy didn't try to pull shit just 'cause she was younger. Things like that tended to piss her off.
"Aw, that's cute. How long have you guys been going out?" She thought for a moment. "Y'know, you kin take anything from here too. Like I said, it just sits there."
She turned to Darci. "No problem, really. I'm glad you took it, in any case. I wouldn't've had much of a use for it otherwise."

"Like.. two months? but we've been on and off for about a year. He broke up with his girlfriend which was like, good." She said brightly, tilting her head to one side and looking in to the locker. "Nah, it's alright. I have enough clothes. My half of the closet is like bursting out of the door. I give all my smaller stuff to Darc for her side."
That last comment wasn't taken well by the brunette, who bit hard on her lip and cast a threatening glance at her friend. She merely muttered something innaudible before turning back to Faye.
