ooc| Three characters at once. bic|
"It's not THAT loud really." she tried to explain, giving the sweetest smile she could muster. "The neighbor next door is even here and he doesn't mind!" Chiku extended a finger in L's direction, who was looking quite frustrated and grabbing for his sunglasses. "I mean, he didn't mind earlier..."
-x-
"Age differences always sound better in the nineties. I mean Four years is not a big deal when your ninety and I'm ninety four." Zuri recited. "You know what I mean. But it's more relevant when your younger. I doubt I'll live to ninety four though, I do plan on dying on that Dr. Phil show." he joked, green eyes electric as he did so.
-x-
"Well if I you don't give those back you'll FIND out what I prefer." he said firmly, uncharacteristic frown marring his features. He even went as far as to cross his arms, but he made no further attempt to grab them again. He wouldn't giver her that satisfaction. "For someone who thinks so ill about me you tend to drop a lot of compliments my way. I'm getting the impression you fancy me Endul."

“Ooh. Will I?” Endul grinned, moving the sunglasses down on her nose for a second to look at him without the darker film. “Then im not giving them back.” She pushed them back up, and laughed at him once he crossed his arms like a little bratty 5 year old. Ha, it was actually pretty adorable. Crossing her own arms to copy him, Endul leaned onto one leg and tapped her foot.
“Fancy you?” She repeated, feeling the spot where her freckles rested on top of her cheek bones blush. “I don’t know. Maybe.” The blushing was rather embarrassing, so she quickly covered her cheeks with her hands. “You jerk. Stop making me blush like this.” She had so many relationships that sucked, it was hard to have a girly crush on any guy. And L was sure no genuine person in her eyes.
ooc: D: Eh. Three characters. Must be confusing.

He just stared at her, a look that completely and unmistakenably said 'wtf?' Like she was a foreign road map and he was trying to figure her out.
"I liked you better when you hated me." he got out finally, cross armed pose still in tact. "Your starting to sound like Ramb when you talk like that." Seeing how she would take that would be interesting.
ooc| It is. I don't want Zuri sounding like L. xD Or vice versa.

"I meant the neighbors that are upstairs, on the floor above you", he spoke loudly, "My cousion has a broken arm and is complaining about the music being too loud", he added, shoving his hands into his pockets, servaing the room with a lazy smooth ness, like he had better things to do. Oh how Maraya would skin him if the volume didn't go down a bit, he that was something he didn't want to go thru.Again. Sazarei's two-colored, teal tail flickered behind his slim form, his four pink eyes blinking at various times, indepently.

"I'll TRY but I can't control the people you know. They'll just turn it back up." She shrugged, giving an apologetic smile. "It's a Friday night. People just sort of show up. You live in the building? I havn't seen you before." She was sure she'd remember him, looking as he did. She couldn't help it if she was shallow.

“Im always going to hate you.” Endul said, correcting him before he could go any longer. “Like, you’re too much of a jerk not to hate.” He really was. Just thinking about the night that she caught him sneaking out made her sick. Rambi was pretty upset and he wouldn’t ever know, and he sure wouldn’t care either.
Her face suddenly got hard, a glare showing through the glasses. Fire beams shot at him now. “Don’t fucking say that. I never sound like Rambi, got that? You’re wrong.” She corrected him once again. It kind of upset her that she sounded like Rambi to him. Or maybe he was just trying to piss her off. “I hate you.” She grunted. She totally took all that she said before back.

"Well all I was asked to do was get the volume turned down", he answered simply, before adding, "I don't really live here, my cousion, Maraya does, you may have seen her around, then again, you can't miss her".He grinned lazily, "I mean, how could you miss the dark blue scales, yellow stars and large grey wings", he added, smirking slightly as he watched the dancing crowd. "Mind if I stay awhile?", he asked over the pounding music.

He'd hit a nerve and he knew it. This one was pretty deep too. He wanted to insult her, but not to the point where she would leave. And if he pressed this particular subject, she just might. His eyes stayed on her, then turned to find his drink he had rested on the counter. Let her interpret this as she wanted. "If you say so."
"Oh." said Chiku wide eyed, evidently not seeing Maraya before. "I see. Um, yeah sure. Wanna drink? We have a lot. You can take...like whatever you want. I'll, er, attempt to turn down the music a little. Crowd is kinda.. ya know thick."

"Leech?" Faye wrinkled her nose a bit before accepting his hand and shaking it. "The name's Faye. People call me Effie or Faye-la, or just plain Faye." She looked at him a moment before adding, "Any particular reason they call you 'Leech'?" She scrutinized him. Not how her usual interests look, but she couldn't deny he was cute.
.x.
"That's true," she replied, "but even now, eighteen and twenty-two doesn't sound all that bad. Once my birthday comes around, that is." Gold eyes found the green before she added, "I have complete faith in your death on Doctor Phil. I'll make sure to get it taped and shown at your funeral." She smirked. "That is, if they can find a coffin big enough for you. I mean, you /are/ Doctor-Phil-worthy."
ooc; i HAD to add the 'gold eyes found the green' just 'cause ofharry potter. i loved how that was worded and i needed to fit it in somewhere.

ooc| Well if the lines worthy enough for my avatar there... xD bic|
"Yeah I guess so." His gaze dropped, just like he wanted the topic to be. If the topic of their age wasn't discussed maybe he'd just forget about it. "Seriously though, I guess I need more midnight jogging runs in the woods. I do have to survive until I get on the show. Lord knows how long that will be." He reclined, sinking in to the puffy couch. "I think you can buy those tapes eh? There probably are a couple in there." He extended a finger toward the entertainment set, rows of dvds cluttering the shelves. "Couple of DVDs I mean. not like a /couple/ IN the entertainment cupboard thing. I'm sure there are a few in the backrooms though. Last time she had a party.. walked in to my room.. wasn't pretty." He beamed, running a hand through his hair.

Endul just stared at him, then leaned back on the bar next to him. She just sighed, quiet for a minute or two. It was obvious he upset her, but she was he didn’t care. She let her head rest on her hands, elbows on the bar’s counter. Her fingers played with the side of the sunglasses, thinking about what he said. Did she always sound like Rambi? Did that mean she was stupid?
“Do you really think that?” Endul looked at him, giving him a nudge on the side. “I mean, no offense to Rambi or any thing. Shes bright. Just… not as much as I want to be.” Even if Rambi was a year younger, she seemed like she was 16. Endul hated that. “Or are you just saying that to piss me off and make me hate you even more?”
Leech took another sip of the beer, which was now half full. “Yeah, Leech.” He nodded. He loved the nickname ever since his best buddy dubbed him of it. He was sort of surprised by the question, and raised a brow. Then he gave a little laugh. “Im not sure why they call me it.” Ah, what a smooth liar. It was horrible how well he pulled it off. “I used to mooch off my friends for cigs when I was young, and I guess that’s how it started.”

"Thanks", Sazarei spoke, as he drifted into the crowd, appearing at the bar.A drinking glass sat infront of him as he grabbed a few bottles, and started whipping up a hell-of-a drink, which caused a few of the other party-goers to stop and watch as he did so, watching in drunken amazment as he skillfully tossed bottles into the air and plucked them easily out of the air, adding to the alchol in the glass. Well, Sazarei was a party-animal, in a way.

"You poor traumatized thing," she replied, mock-sympathetic, patting the top of his head and ruffling his hair, stiff with gel. "And yeah, that'd be a little disturbing. A couple in the entertainment system.. I imagine that'd be uncomfortable. Not that I'd know." She realized what she had said and wanted to bury her face in her hands. She blushed. "I will most definitely buy that video then. Or find it on youtube or something." She laughed. "I'm sure your entire family will be wondering why a girl they never met is planning your funeral."
.x.
"Hm," she replied, looking at him a little dubiously. "You smoke?" She tried to keep the disgust out of her voice. Smoke, to her, was a major turnoff. I mean, who wants to stick their tongue down an ashtray? She laughed lightly at the explanation. "But that certainly can't be all." She had this scary sense of being able to read people.

"Yeah. RAMBI bright." He could help but scoff. "Maybe I am though." he said shortly, taking a sip of his drink. "It's pretty amusing. Well, your pretty amusing." He liked it better when she trash talked him. It was all sort of fucked up.
-x-
"Yes, poor traumatized me. Such a victim." he said melodramatically. "Would be kinda tight. TV in there and everything." His eyebrow raised, looking at the closed wooden doors for a second, obvious contemplating the situation in his head. "No, I'd probably prefer it if you did. My sister would turn it in to a pep rally of some sort." he said jokingly.
-x-
The five foot tall wonder worked her way through the crowd, heading toward the stereo with much difficulty. It was easier said then done. Hand finally clamping the remote control she turned it down a few bars, causing a general upset in the room. "Sorry! Don't want the cops called!" she squeaked, ducking away from the stereo. Her gaze fell on her brother and, shocker, a girl. She was young, younger then her. What a dog, she'd talk to him later. She was close enough to hear herself be mentioned, something about a pep rally? Not really caring enough to stick around, she headed back to the bar. Witnessing the guy she had been talking to preform some difficult tossing feats. "That's crazy!"

"Probably just a /bit/ cramped," she said. "Was she some kind of cheerleader or something?" She lowered her voice as the aforementioned sister walked by. She laughed a little. "I wonder if she knows my sister."
ooc; was she calling zuri or alice a dog?
