Xan looked at her and smiled. He just had to push all his worries in the back of his head. They were going to get married, even if there were some minor issues. He kissed Lunar back.
"Okay, then," He said. So now they were officialy engaged. Well, not really. There wasn't a ring, but you didn't need one, did you? He wasn't an expert about this kind of stuff.

She leaned against him, watching the people walking by. A tall, white gelert with dirty blonde hair walked by, stopped, then looked at Lunar. "Lun?" she asked cautiously. Lunar looked up at her. "Cas?"

Xan raised an eyebrow. He glanced from the gelert to Lunar. It looked like they knew eachother. He sat there, his tail still curled around Lunar in a loving, and yet slightly protective way.

"What's up?" the blonde asked, taking a seat beside the pink-haired girl. "Ah," Lunar replied softly, cautiously, "nothing really. Y'know, same old. I've been drawing, I've been writing, I'm getting married..." Cas's face was of shock; "What? You're getting married? Since when? To who?" Her eyes flickered to the tail around Lunar's waist. "Oh, to him, probably. Oh my god!" She flung her arms around Lunar, causing her to fall over into the fountain. Lunar was knocked back, sending Xan in with her. "I'm so sorry!" Cas sputtered, trying not to laugh. Lunar glared at her, dripping wet bangs falling into her eye before turning to Xan. "Sorry about that."

Xan looked over at Cas. Okay, so they did know eachother. He smiled and chuckled softly when Lunar told her about them getting married. When the other girl flung her arms around Lunar and caused them to fall back into the water, he almost yelped with surprised.
He laughed, "That's okay." He stood up, water dripping from him. He shook himself from the extra weight, spraying the clear liquid everywhere. His tails puffed out slightly. He moved him hair out of his face and then held out his hand so he could help Lunar up.

"Thanks," she replied, taking Xan's hand and standing up. Cas eyed her cautiously. "I'm sorry," she said again. Lunar grinned. "It's alright." She stepped out of the fountain, dripping wet, and gave her friend a huge hug, getting her soaked. "Now it's fair." Cas laughed. "Fair enough." Lunar turned to Xan and watched him shaking his head out like a dog. "You look like a puppy," she remarked lightly before beginning to wring out her hair. She flicked her tail once before sitting down on the ledge again. She never learned.

Xan stepped out afterwards and smiled at Lunar. "I kind of am," He muttered. He stood there, looking at the two. "You know, you'll probably just fall in again, Lunar," He said to her. Not that she wasn't smart, but she could sometimes not get thinks so quickly.
"Uh, so how do you guys know eachother?" He asked Cas, just suddenly curious about it.

"Oh, we met each other a while ago," Lunar replied, brushing off his warning with a move of the hand. "We became friends, and then I lived with her for a while, so we're pretty much family." She began to rock back and forth and suddenly, without warning, fell again. This time, she just about caught herself, but sliced her arm against the concrete. Ohshit, she thought, eyes flickering nervously to Cas. Surely her friend would wonder why she wasn't bleeding?

"Oh, that's nice," He said, giving Cas a friendly smile. He looked over at Lunar. His eyes widened a bit when she began to fall back. "Ah!... Uh, are you okay?" He asked. He glanced at Cas, hoping she wouldn't freak out or anything. Obviously, by looking at Lunar, her friend had no idea she was the 'living dead'.

Lunar laughed lightly. "Whoops," she said, and sat up. Seeing Cas's strange look, she replied, "Oh, it just wasn't that deep, that's all." Cas's gaze was still suspicious, but she decided to keep quiet. For now, anyway. "So," Cas said, "have you guys given any thought to th wedding yet?" Lunar looked at Xan. "You want to answer this one?"

Xan looked from Lunar to Cas. "Ah, well, not really. I just asked her..." He said. Water dripped from his hair and onto his face. He brushed it off, then focused his attention back to the two girls. Lunar's cut was kind of deep, if only at the beginning of it. As long she didn't do anything else, they wouldn't have to explain the whole thing.

"Well, of course you're going to need a dress!" Cas said, ticking things off on her fingers. "Shoes, too, probably dyed to match the gown. Flowers, invitations, a location, a date... Not to mention a bridal shower, a bachelorette party... This is going to be so amazing!" Lunar had been growing progressively paler as Cas listed each thing she "needed". She'd never been to a wedding (at least, she couldn't remember ever doing so) and she never realized how much work it would take. She winced, almost unnoticably. This was going to be expensive, the way Cas put it.

Xan stared at Cas as she ticked things off. He frowned lightly, it being barely noticeable. The way her friend was putting it, this was going to be expensive, and they couldn't afford mostly everything she had just said. He glanced at Lunar, then back at Cas. It sure was going to be amazing, but a little troublesome too. They'd have to figure something out.

Cas suddenly stopped talking and narrowed her eyes. "What're you guys all upset about? I can see it, y'know. Lunar sitting there, wincing as I list stuff. You frowning. What's so bad about this? Weddings are supposed to be happy." Lunar looked a little hesitant before replying, "We are both happy. It's just... it sounds a little expensive, that's all."

Xan's ears went back when she caught him frowning. He looked at Lunar as she spoke and nodded slowly with agreement. He wasn't going to say anything, though. It was a little weird how he didn't have a job or even a bank account. No one knew that he died, and he planned to keep it that way. And that was too not get into anything that had anything to do with government or any of that sort. Sure, the world did have a lot of weird beings(ghost and vampires for example), but walking around dead was a completely different deal.
